I felt my front cover lacked jazz connotations and didn't fully follow the codes and conventions the way i wanted. Such as the yellow background, making it look poster like, which i even received of teacher feedback. Therefore i decided to listen and respond to it. The image previously was the image to the right. Although it looked rustic and vintage as i aimed to, it didn't connote the passion for jazz i needed. Particularly I'm targeting the facial expression that my analysed magazines typically had, and this photo, i thought, didn't. Therefore, i used the photo above (original image). The image is positioned so the instrument is in line with her face. This physically demonstrates the equality and dedication to the instrument, shown in my analysis's of front covers, they will majorly
