The image used had to be edited in order to allow text to be fitted on the page, to fit my codes and conventions. Therefore, I used photoshop and created a background layer and restarted the background editing process. I re did the vignette effect and debris brush effect to ensure I had enough room for the collumns. The image is particularly covered by text in order to highlight how fundamental the instrument is in jazz, and to not take the attention away from it. Since its edited in black and white I felt I had to make a statement that cant be achieved by colour.
