My target market responded exactly how I expected. The mass majority all included points along the line of ''a deeper insight'', and ''quality of writing''. With only a few mentioning who's'/what's on the front. This reinforces the codes and conventions of the magazines I analysed. Being minimal writing on the front cover, maybe a few insiders, however this increased a lot over time. I believe it happened due to the panic of the genre deteriorating after around the 70s. Particularly, my target audience all felt that the artist was not the main pull to read the magazine. The quality of writing, experience, and insight is the most important, and I aim to emphasise this most through the contents page articles and the writing of the double page spread.
